Harry Chana, International Tax Partner at BDO Canada brings over 15+ years of experience on various international tax issues impacting public, multi-national and private enterprises. In his previous and current roles, he has spent a considerable amount of time dealing with a wide variety of clients in the manufacturing, technology, distribution and real estate industries. Harry has also assisted clients in the areas of corporate and personal tax planning, inbound and outbound structuring, cross-border tax planning, and partnership structures.

 

Harry is a frequent speaker at various industry events, as well as several BDO client events, on a wide range of tax topics. He is also a group study leader at the In-Depth Tax Course sponsored by The Canadian Bar Association and The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Finally, Harry is also a member of various associations including The Canadian Tax Foundation and a Finance Committee member of the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce.

 

Brian Morcombe, CPA, CMA Senior Manager, Commodity Tax Expertise Summary Brian has more than 17 years’ experience providing GST/HST and PST solutions to non-resident and resident manufacturers, distributors, charities, financial institutions, municipalities, universities/colleges, schools and hospitals to name a few. Brian also works with clients on resolving WSIB/WCB and EHT issues. Brian specializes in assisting non-resident clients with Canadian sales tax. Outside of the office, Brian is a Juno-nominated professional musician that made the Grammy Ballot in the USA and won the prestigious Parents’ Choice Award in the USA.
