Defining a Government Structure with GPRA 2.0

In the beginning of 2011, President Barack Obama signed The Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010.  This legislation was designed to strengthen and transform the tracking of government performance by designating a Chief Operating Officer and Performance Improvement Officer who will oversee agency efforts to develop management and administrative functions.  The legislation also requires agencies to set measureable performance goals, improve coordination to avoid overlapping government programs, and publish regular performance updates on a single, public website every quarter.

During this event, you will gain a better understanding of how GPRA 2.0 impacts your organization by focusing on how to:

• Measure goals that really matter and comply with new reporting standards
• Review agency strategic planning requirements
• Consolidate goals for greater cross-agency alignment
