Region 2 - Open Market with a feature on Acquisition Planning Packages

This session will explore the similarities and differences between issuing task or delivery orders under GSA Schedule contracts (FAR 8.4), following simplified acquisition procedures (FAR 13), or negotiating a stand-alone contract (FAR 15).

You will learn the advantages of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), when to use them, and tips on developing your acquisition strategy. The session will include an overview of Spend Under Management (SUM) and Best-in-Class (BIC) designations as they relate to the GSA Schedule program.
