Turning Visibility into Action with CDM
Government cybersecurity teams are tasked with understanding all threat vectors and use a wide range of tooling to do so (endpoint, identities, and networks). The Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program is the go-to source for these kinds of tools.
But different tools performing different functions create silos, and in between those disjointed silos lie risks, and new tools are being introduced every month. The Government Accountability Office just issued a report noting the CDM program is falling short on network security and data protection, for instance. Risks can be mitigated by a single view across all assets across all systems.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the nature and scope of the challenge to convert old records into digital format
- Evaluate priorities in setting digital objectives and the benefits of gaining electronic access to previously unavailable data
- Learn strategies to build support for AI-driven modernization initiatives across departments
- Identify the tools and capabilities needed to automate document capture, classification, and data extraction
- Delineate agency objectives and metrics that measure progress toward achieving them
