Webinar Topic: The Cybersecurity Imperative: An Agency's Toolbox for Secure Data

Brought to you by FedInsider, WTOP, and Federal News Radio, this complimentary one-hour webinar will explore how lead agencies are tackling the growing threat of cybersecurity.

Executive Order 13636 [Feb 2013] on cybersecurity advises agencies:

"Repeated cyber intrusions into critical infrastructure demonstrate the need for improved cyber security. The cyber threat continues to grow and represents one of the most serious national security challenges we must control.  The national and economic security of the United States depends on the reliable functioning of the Nation is critical infrastructure in the face of such threats."

For government agencies, the surge in cyber attacks in recent years has significantly complicated the cybersecurity mission and requires knowledgeable federal mangers and staff in every agency, and branch.

A denial of service, theft, manipulation of data, or damage to critical infrastructure through a cyber attack could significantly impact national security, the economy, and the livelihood and safety of all citizens.
